Day of Service
Jenesse Center operates six facilities where families live, receive counseling, have educational classes/ life skills training and obtain legal assistance.
Volunteers are always needed to help maintain our facilities with landscaping, painting and organization of our boutiques and warehouses.

Education and Program Facilitator
Jenesse Center, Inc. is more than a shelter. We are a comprehensive domestic violence intervention program with a strong education component that is focused on ensuring that our clients become self-sufficient. This is why clients are in class at our Education Center from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
Jenesse is always looking for dynamic facilitators to teach classes on a variety of subjects in ways that empower, educate and motive.

1) Please download the appropriate volunteer packet.
2) Please complete all forms in the packet and make an appointment for background screening. Please send your Volunteer Application Form and your Confidentiality Form to Pamela Thomas by fax at (323) 299-0699 or through mail at P.O. Box 8476, Los Angeles, CA 90008. Please attach a copy of your current ID. If you do not feel comfortable with that, you can bring it to our Corporate Office.
Please note that all information we receive is kept confidential.
3) Once the Live Scan results are submitted to Jenesse, Jenesse staff will review your entire packet and send it to the appropriate department.
4) You will be contacted by a staff person to set up an interview.
